My Hero :)

Yesterday morning I woke up, feeling normal, and started to get ready for work. I was in the shower and right after I lathered up all my hair with shampoo, I began feeling dizzy and things started going black. At that point I knew I needed to get out and lay down but I really didn't want to leave all the soap in my hair. Looking back, that a was a bad decision. Marc woke up to a loud noise, ran into the bathroom, and there I was: lying on the tile floor, convulsing, with a pool of blood beneath me, and not responsive. There was blood all over the wall, and more of it coming out of my face by the second. Marc kept yelling trying to get me up and was becoming more afraid each moment that I wasn't responding. Since I wouldn't stop convulsing he called 911 and I have a vague memory laying in bed and seeing 4 men around me. After that I can't remember anything until the hospital. All the tests came back negative and the doctor wasn't too concerned with everything. He said my shaking was most likely caused from severe trauma to my head and my body went into shock. Obviously I got a nice concussion which is keeping me from remembering anything that happened. And I have 5 stitches on my chin which I'm hoping will not leave a scar for our wedding this summer. The doctor believes because of my low heart rate I don't have much blood getting up to my brain...the hot water only makes it worse. So as long as I take warmer showers and get out when I start feeling dizzy, I should be okay.

Yesterday was an obvious scary moment for myself, but mostly Marc. He was really shaken up and said he doesn't like to think about it. But I couldn't be more thankful he was there and heard my fall. I can't imagine what would have happened if he wasn't there or if he hadn't woken up...

Marc and I are getting married in 3 months and I couldn't be more happy and more blessed to have someone like him in my life forever. He saved me yesterday and did everything out of pure love for me. He sat by my hospital bedside all day, and throughout last night would wake up every so often, asking me if I was okay. At work today he called almost every hour checking on me and since being home tonight, he has taken care of everything. To me, there is no one more perfect than Marc and thankfully I can say, he's mine :)
